The Quebec Investor Program is for experienced investors who have significant assets and personal net worth that they wish to invest in the province of Quebec. To apply to the Quebec Investor Program, applicants must have net assets totaling at least CAD 2 million and the ability to invest at least CAD 1,200,000 with a Quebec financial intermediary.

QUEBEC INVESTOR PROGRAM
To apply for citizenship, an investor must invest 1,200,000 CAD at zero interest for five years. They are not required to start a business. This distinguishes the Quebec program from the migration programs in other provinces of the country. The investment is returned in full after 5 years, but no interest is earned on it.

PROVINCIAL NOMINEE PROGRAM

This category summarizes the programs of the provinces of Canada through which the applicant can work or open a business in the region for permanent residence. The conditions of some of the entrepreneurial programs of the provinces require a minimum investment in a business of 200,000 CAD and savings of 600,000 CAD.

To qualify for the Quebec Investor Program, applicants must meet three basic
requirements. An investor must:

1. Have net assets of at least CAD 2 million. This amount must have been obtained
   legally and cannot include amounts received by donation within 6 months of the
   date of application. This amount may also include the assets of the applicant’s
   spouse or common-law partner.
2. Have experience in management in a legal farming, commercial, or industrialbusiness, or in a legal professional business where the staff, excluding the investor, occupy at least the equivalent of two full-time jobs; or for an international agency or a government.
3. Intend to settle in Quebec and sign an agreement to invest CAD 1,200,000 with a financial intermediary (broker or trust company) authorized to participate in the Quebec Investor Program.

1. Submit documents required to the government of Quebec.
2. Fulfill the investment option.
3. Apply at the local Canadian council or consulate (When submitting documents,
you’ll need to pay 16,383 CAD. If you meet the requirements, you will be used an entry visa which can be used to move to Canada within 12 months).
4. Wait for a decision.

From submission of the application to approval in principle, applicants are generally
expected to wait three months to 5 years.

By law, an investor cannot apply for citizenship on their own. The applicant needs to
contact a licensed agent to participate in the citizenship by investment. The licensed
agent is a law firm that assists applicants at every stage of obtaining citizenship.

Who is eligible?

Be a business owner, a shareholder in a private company, or have worked for at least two years in a managerial position in a company with a turnover of 50,000
CAD.

Own assets of CAD 2,000,000 and prove that they were earned legally.

Have no criminal records or violations.

Pass with a score of at least 75% on the test on knowledge of the history and
traditions of Quebec.

Not infected with any socially dangerous diseases like HIV.

Parents or grandparents of the main applicant or the spouse if fully supported by
the main applicant or the main applicant’s spouse
